Apirilak 15 / 15th April
Here`s the list of butterflies that I have seen so far in Lurbarri: Brimstone, small white, speckled wood, holly blue, short-tailed blue, large skipper, dingy skipper, chequered skipper, wood white, clouded yellow, map butterfly, peacock and red admiral, 13 in all. Not bad! However no sign yet of two beauties that coe to may garden every year, the marsh fritillary ad the small pearl-bordered fritillary. Let`s hope they come to Lurbarri oasis also! Although they`re not photos taken in the oasis I`ve included some local birds.
